Waxed Canvas

Waxed canvas is a water-repellant fabric with rugged charm. The fabric will have noticeable crease and crinkle marks and develop more character with use.

Caring for Your Bag

Spot clean your bag with a damp cloth, and use a lint roller to remove lint and other debris. Do not put your waxed canvas bag in the washer or dryer, and do not iron.

To reduce the appearance of crinkles in the canvas and restore colour, blow dry with a hair dryer for about 30 seconds. This will re-melt the wax for a smoother appearance.

Over time as the canvas is worn, it may be necessary to reapply wax to your bag to maintain its water-resistance. Tins of refinishing wax (such as parrafin wax), can be found at fabric and leather supply stores.
